Photo-to-crayon paper poster

Pair an untouched source photograph with a tactile handmade-paper and wax-crayon translation in an exact 50/50 split poster.

Create one 3:4 portrait poster from exactly one source photograph. If several source photographs are supplied, process each in a separate run and never combine them. Divide the canvas horizontally at exactly 50% height into two equal 3:2 panels.

UPPER HALF: Use the supplied photo as the real photograph. Preserve identity and count, pose, placement, proportions, perspective, clothes and accessories, structures, spatial relationships, natural light, depth of field, materials, and color relationships. Fit only with minimal safe edge cropping or continuation of existing background. Do not redraw, repaint, stylize, reconstruct, or invent content; allow only a gentle editorial photo finish. Keep all paper, drawing, and lettering below the seam.

LOWER HALF: Use warm off-white handmade paper with fine fibers, pulp texture, faint creases, and subtle age marks. Add one narrow irregular horizontal patch near the panel center, derived from the photo and muted toward a Morandi palette. On it, draw the same recognizable subject in dark, muted, matte wax crayon, preserving silhouette, pose, direction, scale, and defining structure. Simplify with loose, slightly broken, grainy strokes; avoid photo-real detail, vector precision, complex shading, and 3D. Leave generous whitespace.

Handwrite only one short, mood-specific English phrase of about two to five words in pale, soft strokes. Add subtle Risograph speckle to the lower panel only. Keep the mood quiet, nostalgic, and restrained, like an independent art publication. Gallery images guide materials and layout only; do not copy their subjects, scenes, captions, or labels. Return exactly one poster.
